problems with new update 7.10
I run SABNZBD on QNAP server TS659 PRO II and as of update 7.10 post download processing no longer works. File download still works fine, but as soon as post processing / error checking starts SABNZBD stalls and comes back with 'Retry' with no error message / warning what soever. It appears as if it stalls on sfv checking.
I tried removing / reinstalling etc. but nothing works. If I go back to the previous version 7.9 or earlier everything works just fine.
Is anybody else suffering from similar issues and / or any suggestions wrt solution?

Re: problems with new update 7.10
Hi, same problem here, 0.7.10 seems broken on my Synology server. Some nzb just go well, some nzb drop an error (without any explanation) but manual par2verify is fine, and some nzb can be repaired but sabnzbd don't even try.
I don't try to revert to 0.7.9 though.
EDIT: I reverted to 0.7.9 and the same nzbs that failed on 0.7.10 are working now perfectly.

Same probleme here too on Synology.
Post processing doesn't works from 0.7.10.

Re: problems with new update 7.10
I also had post processing issues, but on Windows (not Synology). Reverted to 7.9 and all is well again.

I got the same problem.
I can send by PM a .nzb file which does have the problem.

Re: problems with new update 7.10
I'm finding that it appears that version 7.10 is randomly making directories read only. This is occurring on USB external drives. It'll build the download directory fine sometimes, other times it hangs. Other times it finishes processing but moving the file to it's final location ends up being read only. Win 8 64 bit. Just now trying to downgrade to 7.09 so don't yet know if that resolves the problem. But it never occurred until I updated to 7.10 so it seems likely...
Re: problems with new update 7.10
SABnzbd doesn't do anything with access rights on Windows.
Possibly the downloaded RAR files contain read-only attributes for files and folders.

Re: problems with new update 7.10
same issue on windows,7.10 - quickpar will manually repair just fine.
So I guess ill have to downgrade as well. sigh.
I was just about to push sabnzbd version - 07.10 to 8 users, good thing I tested it first ;-)

Re: problems with new update 7.10
Not going to disagree, but after downgrading to 7.09 3 NZBs that failed because sabnzbd couldn't write to the temporary download folder directory (because it was read only) worked perfectly. Just reporting what happened in case it is an issue as I love the program.shypike wrote:SABnzbd doesn't do anything with access rights on Windows.

Re: problems with new update 7.10
I got another issue with version 10.
Sab downloads a file which is 300MB in size eventually it downloads only 20 and says download is successful! When it's actually failed since it isn't complete.

Re: problems with new update 7.10
Shypike, can you please give us an idea whether the above issues are recognized by the Developer and if so how/when they will be resolved? Thanks!
Re: problems with new update 7.10
Dear ShyPike,
I sow a 0.7.11 version has just been released. Does-it mean you localized an eradicated the issue which appeared in the 0.7.10 version?
Thanks!

Re: problems with new update 7.10
The par2 issues should be gone now.
The claim that 0.7.10 makes folders read-only sounds just too unlikely.
I would need more information before I can take any action.
