Checked settings in sab and couch potato, but cannot find any way to tell sab to either limit or not tos try alternative downloads for a particular title...
Left it downloading a film the other night, only to find out it had done nearly 100gb due to the file downloading, but failing to either repair or extract properly. I have enabled to try to check the file before download, but this did not help in this case, its usually quite effective.
I assume that sab is somehow telling CP that the download it has tried has failed, can I have a different source.. I want to stop ot limit this to only try one more file...
Im sure its obvious, just cant see it!ac

Re: Stop sab from trying alternative downloads?
Sab doesn't ask or search for alternatives for failed jobs. That behaviour is the responsibility of external programs/websites/etc that do the actual searching, such as couchpotato. These programs know about success or failure of a job because they get info from a post-processing script or by reading the history via sab's api.DrSabb wrote:I assume that sab is somehow telling CP that the download it has tried has failed, can I have a different source..
