My First Post! Question around fakes or error

HI There
This is my first post - be gentle !

Last couple of weeks I have been downloading NZB's and unlike many successful months before I am ending up with a .bin and a .exe on completion

Whats weird (as I have obviously wondered whether theres further unzipping needed neither the bin or exe file sizes add up to what the file size should be (eg, a double CD should be about 150MB -200mb and the bin is just 50mb and the exe 3.4mb

Are viruses flooding the nzb world?

PS - I am on a Mac and have tried The Unarchiver to unzip

Lots of crap floats around on Usenet, it seems to be a trend.
Remove and look for an alternative NZB.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking I was missing something originally and that something wasn't unpacking as it should, would love to know why people waste time doing this sort of rubbish!
