SABnzbdX, SABnzbd for OSX gui
Re: SABnzbdX, SABnzbd for OSX gui
I agree, I try to do some more macish icons

Exactly what I meant. That would be sweet.rAf wrote:
- multiple SABnzbd have to be in a group (all SAB in a group share the same usenet account).
- if one is downloading, the others must be paused.
- if no one is downloading, check queue for SAB in the same group to resume
What do you think of that ?
two important details
- if no one is downloading, check queues, if no queued items are found unpause all
- if SABnzbdX is quit, unpause all
this way you'd make sure other SABs will still be working no matter what.
wish I could help you with cocoa... but i can't...
anyways,
hope you can make this work some day.

Re: SABnzbdX, SABnzbd for OSX gui
Hi nice app thank you. I do have a little problem (that I'm 100% sure is just me lol).
I have a machine (G4) tucked under my stairs that has power and ethernet, it is my sab box (and very good it is too), all my other machines point to it thanks to nzbstatus amd it downloads everything.
Now if I install your app on that machine it works fine on it, however if I install it on my other machines and put in the ip address of the G4 it doesn't see it.
Do you have a step by step guide for me please as to what I need to set?
Many thanks and well done.
J

The only thing to do is to go in preference and in host field put your G4 ip address.
You have to wait 5 seconds when you close the preferences panel for refresh.
Are your others machines on the same local network or are you trying to connect from outside ?
Can you give more details on your network ?

Re: SABnzbdX, SABnzbd for OSX gui
v1.1 is not working for me. I have SABnzbd running on another Mac in my same subnet and v1.0 worked fine. Same settings on v1.1 and I get the red icon and the choice to open SABnzbd is greyed out.
I reverted to 1.0 and it works perfectly.

Strange...
Could you do this to reset your preferences file :
- quit SABnzbdX
- delete the file /Users//Library/Preferences/org.sabnzbd.team.plist
- go to preferences and enter your settings
I just don't see why it's working with V1.0 and not V1.1, there is no code change is status check...

Growl is installed (v1.1.4).
I reset preferences, no change. Still a red icon.

Re: SABnzbdX, SABnzbd for OSX gui
I think you squashed it. It works perfectly, and growl did its business just fine.
Minor complaint -- the percentage and speed should each be moved a few pixels down and up respectively, so there's a little space between them and the edges of the menu bar.
I think iStat Menus has a nice, clean menu bar execution:

Confirmed working. Thanks!rAf wrote: Could you try this one ?
Same minor problem with the icon/position of stats - but I could very well live with that ;-)
