I've been running Sabnzbd (and Sickbeard and Couchpotato, you know the deal) on a Zotac MAG Intel Atom N330 running Windows 7 32bit for maybe a year now. It's satrting to act funny and I'm getting audio stuttering and just general shitty performance out of anything that's not XBMC.
So I'm pondering moving to Ubuntu. However, I wanted to be sure I can migrate all my settings easily before I do so.
So my question is: What's the best way to backup Sabnzbd to be reinstalled in Ubuntu with as little overhead as possible? I've never done much more than dabble with Linux, so I'm no command line expert by any means. Is this a doable endeavor?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Need help migrating from Windows to Ubuntu
The most important asset is the sabnzbd.ini file.
You would have to change any paths in it, but otherwise you can just reuse it.

Make sure you add jcfp's repo to Ubuntu, because if you rely on the "official" repo-s, you'll always have outdated SABnzbd versions.

Re: Need help migrating from Windows to Ubuntu
It is a learning curve, especially because your ZOTAC has light-weight hardware and because it has no CD-drive.
The first milestone is this: are you able to create a bootable USB-stick and boot the ZOTAC from it. If you have questions with that, http://ubuntuforums.org/ is the best place.
If you can boot Ubuntu on the ZOTAC, installing Ubuntu and SABnzbd is easy.
