Missing blocks reported, but archive extracts manually

Post by 8th sin »

Lately I've noticed all my downloads are failing reporting a huge number of missing blocks. However if I manually extract (unrar e *.rar from the ~/Downloads/complete directory), the archive extracts just fine. Attempting a manual par2 repair fails reporting the same number of missing blocks. All post processing switches are enabled with the exception of the additional parameters. I recently moved to a new indexer (nzbgeek VIG) and that's when about these issues started, although I'm not sure how that's causing a false failure in sab. It seems like a minor issue, however it's killing my automated post-processing through sickbeard.

Version: 0.7.3
OS: Ubuntu 12.10 Server
Install-type: Quantal Repo
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? Yes

I would first upgrade to 0.7.12.

And that did the trick. Just had to add the unofficial repo, as the official quantal repo was way out of date. Thanks a bunch, should have tried that to begin with!

I'm glad you mentioned the version yourself. That saved you and me a lot of time. :-)
