Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
Did you tell SABnzbd where that password file is in Config->Folders?
Second where is the job, in the queue: if so resume it by clicking on the square box left of the job.
If as Failed in the History, click "Retry".

Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
hi!
yes sure!
complete path with ...passes.txt
the job did not contiunue while in the que and also not by deleting and add again the nzb.
it will stop @ 10% with message "file is crypted"
ps. is there any rule for the txt? or just
pass1
pass2
pass3

Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
Only when you set a password in the title, download will continue without pausing.
The presence of the password file will not.
Otherwise you might as well have disabled the pause/abort option for encrypted files.
A single password for a specific job can be added to the title like this:
My favorite show/password
You do that by clicking on the job title so that you'll get the details page of the job.
A password file contains one password per line.

Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
sorry, i cannot set any password in any title or somthing else.
the password file is useless i guess. the passwords are in the textfile but sabnzb will not use the file, i guess...
i´ve disabled the "stop function" when a file is protected with passwort. so it will now download complete but it do not extract...
what do you mean with?
"my favorite show/password" ?
when is click on the finished title i will get details but not more.

Yes, you can.user0815 wrote:sorry, i cannot set any password in any title or somthing else.
You already reached the details page.
At the top you can edit the title of the NZB. Just add a slash / and the password.
Since a slash cannot be part of a title, SABnzbd knows that what's behind it is a password.
Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
Hi,
i have the same Problems with the encrypte downloads. I'm running Sabnzbd on a QNAB Turbo Nas. I created a .txt file named passwords on my Windows Desktop an moved it to the Sabnzbds config folder. Then I wrote the hole path including the file name into Config -> Folder. When i click now to retry (download is already finished) i only get an error message "unrar needs a password". Whats going wrong? Thank for helping.

Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
What does the path for the password file look like?
It should be written as an internal NAS path and not as a Windows path.

Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
This is the complet path:
/share/MD0_DATA/Download/sabnzbd/Config/password.txt
/share/MD0_DATA/Download/sabnzbd/Config/password.txt
Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
The casing is right (uppercase/lowercase)?
If the path is correct and it has the proper access right, I see no reason why SABnzbd should not read it.

Re: Encrypted Downloads and passwort file
You are right! The config Folder is writen in lowercase. I changed it and what should i say - it works! Thank you so much! I was almost to despair.
