SABnzbd is not downloading par2 files

Try 0.7.6 Beta1 first.
I'm not sure if this helps, but at least it will eliminate one
specific problem with par2 files (namely that the poster renamed his files
after creating par2 file).

Well, nothing much you can do now.
Your email goes into the queue for examination, might take some time.

I have the same issue same version also.

Using the same nzb file on another box that hasent upgraded (running 0.7.2) with the same usenet provider the par2 files all download correctly.

this looks like a new bug to me.

I removed and reinstalled and reconfigured and still the same problem, the sequence of events are ..

drop nzb in watch folder

shows as paused becasue im trying the same one again....leaving it paused click it and show the list of files, it shows the par files as part of the list.

Upause it, about 3 sec later the completed bar shows a few hundred meg completed and now in the file list the par files have been removed. The have not been downloaded they are now jsut missing.

the rest of the file download and the download is marked as failed.

in the details it shows "The recovery file does not exist:" followed by the location it should have been if it were downloaded.

First feedback.
The smallest par2 file is missing on your provider (mine has it).
It's the one without volXX+YY in the name, listed at the top when you look at the file list
right after loading the NZB.
For some reason this confuses SABnzbd so much that it forgets to download the rest of the par2 files.
It looks like you hit a bug.

Yes I agree, I have rolled back to 0.7.3 and I can see the ones that failed in 0.7.5 also don't have the smallest par2 but 0.7.3 continues regardless and uses the other par2 files to complete it. as you say 0.7.5 just forgets all about the other par2 files when the smallest one fails or is missing.

Same for me in 7.13 somehow sabnzbd is not able to repair.
For my test files there are more than enought PAR files available, but sabnzbd is not able to repair.

Unfortunately nobody bothers with sending any evidence.
So there's nothing to investigate for me.

Somehow for all my test downloads only the first PAR2 index file is loaded. The additional PAR volumes are not downloaded.
Also if I put the PAR volumes manualy into the folder an retry the failed donwload job if fails again instantly.

I am using Eweka.
After I was adding the nzb to the queque the PAR files are in the download list.
After the "check bevor download" the PAR files are not in the list anymore.

In the nzb I am trying to download there are missing articles so I have to use the PAR files to repair those files.
So I am downloading the files manualy than.
