Schedule not working
MY current schedule is setup as this:
Task 1: 22:59 - Daily - speedlimit 0
Task 2: 23:00 - Daily - resume
Task 3: 8:55 - Daily - speedlimit 1
I paused sabnzbd yesterday morning, thinking it would resume at 11pm at night. I woke up this morning to fine it still paused.
None of the scheduled tasks are being run?
Any idea why?

Re: Schedule not working
speedlimit 0 = limit the speed to 0kB/s
Try either changing it or just use pause/resume.

Re: Schedule not working
i assumed 0 was a null value, how do you remove the speed limit then?
And surely despite the speed limit it would still unpause? Which it currently is not doing

Re: Schedule not working
Just set a value high above your connection speed.fade wrote: how do you remove the speed limit then?
Re: Schedule not working
well that seems a pretty bad way of doing it tbh, rather there be no limit.
But, anyway that's all beside the point.
The point is the schedule is not working at all. it is not resuming it is staying in paused mode.

Re: Schedule not working
Sorry, what I meant was speedlimit 1 = 1kB/s
speedlimit 0 WILL turn off the speed limit. I'm ill at the moment so that is my excuse
If sabnzbd was still running at 23:00 and the pc was not in standby/hibernate then the schedule should have changed.

The computer is a laptop that was full on (it has not been turned off for a week and all power management options are off)
Re: Schedule not working
Anything in the log file? Can you see if the scheduler ran at all?
One possibility is that the scheduler task crashed (we never had reports of that).

Re: Schedule not working
as far as I can see the scheduled tasks are not being run at all as there is nothing relating to scheduled tasks in the log files
Re: Schedule not working
Please send us a your INI file (with passwords removed!).
A log file at debug level would be welcome too.
It should include the most recent start pf SABnzbd.
You can send it to [email protected]

Re: Schedule not working
Hey guys,
You ever figure this out?
I am having a similar situation where, scheduling seems to be working upon first launching but the second I manually pause downloads, they never resume, even though I have a schedule set to resume downloading at a later time.

Re: Schedule not working
Manual pauses are not influenced by scheduled resumes.
The assumption is that you have a good reason to use a manual pause.
You need to resume manually.

Re: Schedule not working
Hmmm... I can't say I agree with that methology...
The only reason I pause is because my ISP has "peak" and "off peak" download limits so as an example... I will queue up a bunch of stuff during the day and after a few episodes (say what I plan on watching that night) I'll hit pause. Then I would expect the app to resume at 2:45 AM when I have it scheduled to resume.
The only way it would work right now is to resume right before I go to bed but then I am still using ~5 hours of peak transfer which is kind of what I am trying to avoid
Anyways around my scenario?

Re: Schedule not working
You could set the speed limit to something super low (1KBps) before heading to bed (an un-pause), then at 2:45am have it remove the speed-limit. Or instead of manually pausing it after a few episodes have the schedule auto-pause it for you, then at 2:45am it will auto-unpause due to the schedule.
