cannot connect sabmobile on windows phone

Im New here and not sure if im in the right place

I recently had to reformat my hard drive which was running windows 7 ultimate..i am how on windows xp pro sp3
I reinstalled Sabnzbd and all is working fine .But when i come to use sabmobile from my windows phone it will not connect anymore

Message on windows phone
Error decoding response from server

I do know when a new install of sabnzbd generates a new API Key which i changed in sabmobile
My ip and port are the same so don't need to change them..

I have also tried generating a new API Key via sabnzbd and input it into sabmobile but it still will not connect

Everything was working fine before i formatted the hard drive and put xp on
My remote access is enabled via my Virgin Hub with the correct ip and port

Would it have anything to do with XP and would a upgrade back to Windows 7 cure this problem

I also have the same problem using my android tablet
And also have the same problem when trying to send NZB to Sab via any of the NZB sites im a member of

Any Help would be much appreciated

Have you told the Windows Firewall (or other security suit) that it's OK for SABnzbd
to receive incoming traffic?
Is SABnzbd's host name just "localhost"? If so, it will not listen to other computers.

Yes Windows Firewall is on and SAB is checked
And Im able to download files via my PC though SANnzbd

I use Remote for BitTorrent via my phone and that connects

Yes SANnzbd host is named localhost..What do i need to do to change the host name..?

The host name that usually works best is 0.0.0.0

Changed the Host name to 0.0.0.0

Still nothing...!!!

Ok..Im half way there...!!

I reinstalled SABnzbd and checked on "i want SABnzbd to be viewable by any pc on my network".

Entered all my details into Sabmobile and it now works

My problem now is using EDGE/3G, or from a public WIFI HotSpot
I have inputted all the right details into Sabmobile

public ip address
port
and the same API Key for LOCAL network setup

But will not connect..
My HUb is enabled for remote access

It's probably your port forwarding. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_forwarding and http://portforward.com/

It all depends on your NAT-device (router/modem). I will not guide you through that; it is not SABnzbd, and it has been discussed quite often here on this forum and elsewhere

From Internet to a system on your LAN? Because that is what you want with your phone, right?

PS:

I did a port scan on your IP address (as a forum I can see your IP address), and only port 8085 is open/responds; it's your virgin media hub. I guess that's your router/modem?

No other services are listening.

Like i said in my first post it was working before i formatted my hard drive and installed XP

No it doesn't work
It only works on local ip..not on public
I don't no what to do...
like i said other apps work on my public port forwarding

The above rule is what i have set up on my Hub which works with other apps..

Im Totally lost...!!!!
