Is it in paused mode when it stops?
What is the color of the small square at the top right?

Hi

I have the same issue.
It keeps pausing at random (I think)
This issue started not long ago, maybe a week or less.

Can still be an issue with your ISP or your Usenet provider.
The only real test is to try some other download client.
Try Grabit.

Which browser were you using when this problem occurred?

I don't use windows 7 often but the first thing that comes to mind is a power setting dealing with the network card.

First thing I would check is your NIC's power settings. Off the top of my head...

-Open the device manager.
-Find the network adaptor that you're using whether that be a wired, or wireless card and right-click on it and select "Properties".
Once the properties window opens, click on the "Power Management" button or tab
I believe there is an option somewhere that says "Allow this computer to turn this device off to save power". Turn that option off.

See if that fixes your issue afterwards...
