Move on completion?

Post by chongwho »

Hello,

I am using Media Center Master for my post processing.

I have it scan my 'complete/movies' folder for new movies every 5 minutes

SAB is working great, it downloads in my 'temporary' folder, then when complete it transfers to my 'complete/Moves' dir, however it seems like it goes here to unpack, sometimes MCM is picking it up half way though unpacking and renaming things, moving half the files and making a big old mess.

Is there a way I can have a certain complete folder that the movie will only be transferred to once it is actually finished and ready to be moved/renamed etc.

Or if anyone is familiar with MCM, is there a way I can turn off auto scan for the download parser, and set a SAB Script to notify MCM once a download is fully completed and ready to be processed?

Thanks very much

SABnzbd prefixes unfinished folders with __UNPACK__
May its possible to use this in MCM.

Sorry I'm not quite sure what you mean.

I have a problem however that my download parser is picking up the files in my /sab/complete/movies file while they are still being unpacked/repaired etc, and the par.2 and other files are all being picked up as movies, renamed, half moved, and all sorts of problems occur, essentially the end result is they have to be deleted.

I have a 'downloading' folder and a 'complete' folder, however the files seem to be moved to the 'completed' file when still unpacking.

I could set my parser scan in MCM to less frequent, however it still probably going to get the timing wrong every now and then and ruin more 8 gig downloads.

Anyone else had experience with this?

Is there a script or something that will fully repair / unpack the file, and then when it is all done, move it to perhaps another folder within sab/complete/movies?? such as sab/complete/movies/done.

Thanks in advance.

Some scanners have the option to ignore folders with certain naming conventions.
When in progress, SABnzbd names the folder __UNPACK__name_of_item

I don't think Media Center Master has this.

Is there a script I can run on completion and complete unpack to move the completed movie files to a folder set up to be scanned.

For example, Sickbeard works fine, as there is a script on completion that sends it back to Sickbeard for processing.

If I could implement a simple script for movies to move the complete movie file(s) to another sub folder, I'm sure this would solve the problem.

Thanks

You can ask for help on our "scripting" forum.

I put up a question in the scripting section, but unfortunately it isn't copping much attention.

Maybe I asked incorrectly or maybe it has been answered before and I just can't see it?

Is anyone able to have a look and see if they could help?
