I'm running Mac OS X 10.9 , latest version of sabnzbd and I was downloading a movie.. I had left for the day, came home, and it appeared to be "Starting Repair" , but looks like it was spinning endlessly with no outcome. I did a UI Reboot, but it would hang. I tried to let it do its thing for an hour, still nothing and as a last resort I did a force quit on the application and proceeded to reboot the entire system.
Sab appears to be active on my system file menu icon at the top, but I was unable to navigate to localhost:8080 . So I did a reboot from the drop down, and now it's stuck on "Stopping..." What would be my best bet to resolve this?
Sabnzbd stuck on starting repair, now entire program haulted

Is the par2 process active in the Activity Monitor?
Does it use any process time?
Extensive repairs can be very time consuming, but sometimes the (third-party) par2 tool simply hangs up.
You can use the Activity Monitor to kill the par2 task.
Then retry the repair from History.
