Using port 8080 (and host set to 0.0.0.0.) I can't log into my SAB from a remote location. Firewall off and Virus protection is off as well.
Would love some help to resolve this issue.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

Do you mean with "remote log in" from the same LAN, or from work (through the internet)?
If from the internet, consider using teamviewer. I use it to controll computers from "outside", and it works great.
