A reproducible scenario would be great to find this issue.
So far I cannot come up with one and nothing in the code suggests that there would be a problem.
(That doesn't mean there isn't a problem.)

just tryed 0.7.17RC1 with classic darkblue theme.

it does not accept a password. for example > "passwordtest / kijlkjklj" generates some weird output.

it's not working 100% with classic dark blue. try to rename a bit. it's not working at all for me.

seems working fine with plush (which i hate)

The other issue (spaces) should be fixed in the next release.
