Github project - HTTP Service manager for SAB, SB etc

Post by tmacka88 »

Hey guys,

I just started a new project on github called Service Manager (for now).

Basically, I have lots of local devices on my network and I wanted a way to easily swap between. Yes, bookmarks can be used for this, but I wanted it all on one page that loads everything together so they all work in the background and makes it easy (like a control panel). I want to use it for things like SABnzbd, SickBeard, CouchPotato, FreeNAS, Router, RPi services etc.

So far it's in the very early stages, however, it is working in it's most basic form.

For this to work, you can run it locally, or on a RPi web server (currently only uses HTML & jQuery (locally - no internet needed)).

NOTE: Do not allow access to this through WAN unless you have take precautions, as other may be able to control/use your services.

You can check it out at https://github.com/tmacka88/Service-Manager.

Future development:
- Settings page to add new pages and button to side nav without having to change any code. Making it dynamic.

If anyone would like to hep with this project please feel free. I need help with dynamic coding as I am primarily front end developer.

Also let me know if you guys have any more ideas for future features etc.

Cheers
