I'm using windows 7 Ultimate 64. I got tired of having to log into the user account in which SAB was installed originally, in order for SAB to initialize after boot. So, instead, I set up a task using task scheduler and it runs sabnzbd.exe regardless of whether or not any user accounts are logged in.
My question: When a new version of SAB is released and I need to update, what is the best way to do that? log into one of the user accounts, download and install? The reason I am asking this is because I don't want to have any issues with my configuration of SAB and I feel like I read somewhere that the config for SAB was stored in a user directory somewhere. I may be off base though.
Thanks!

Just do a shutdown using the web ui.
Then update as usual.
