Ive setup a new install of SAB on Windows of which use network shares to store complete and incomplete downloads. For some reason incomplete downloads path keeps resetting back to Downloads/incomplete when I restart SABnzbd. Not sure if it matters, but Im also running SAB as a service.
Any thoughts as to why this keeps happening?

- Are you using the latest stable version of SABnzbd? Downloads page.
- Tell us what system you run SABnzbd on.

- Do you experience problems during downloading?
Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

This happens when the set directories (in your case: network shares) are not (yet) available at the moment SABnzbd starts.

Is it possible to delay sab from starting until the shares are available?

I don't use Windows myself, but the first Google hits on "windows delay service startup" look helpful

Use the Config->Special setting "wait_for_dfolder".
