Great. Do you happen to know against which commit this was done? (So, where you branched?)
git refuses to apply the patch to the current 0.7.x
Of course I can manually process the diff, but should you know...

It was high time 0.7.18 went out.
Adding this would have meant more delay.
It will be added though, at least in 0.8.0
