Since upgrading to Yosemite, I'm having issues with my MacBook Pro going to sleep while downloading. This doesn't happen if my Mac is plugged in ... it only happens when I'm running on battery power.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and solved it? I'm guessing it's a problem on the Mac side, not the SAB side. I don't think this happened under Mountain Lion or Mavericks.
Here's how I've got my energy saver preferences configured. Setting my display to never sleep might solve the problem, but seems like it'll put some drain on the lifespan of my machine.
SABnzbd and Yosemite sleep issues
Re: SABnzbd and Yosemite sleep issues
Actually, now that I see those screenshots head to head, maybe I'll try enabling power nap on battery power.
Re: SABnzbd and Yosemite sleep issues
I have my doubts about OSX in this area.
My desktop iMac falls asleep after a few hours of non-usage, despite that I told it not to.
Very unpleasant when you're trying to access it remotely.

Re: SABnzbd and Yosemite sleep issues
Agreed.
After some testing last night, I noticed that iTunes will keep playing after the machine goes asleep. Perhaps a temporary workaround will be to let iTunes keep playing while muted to prevent sleep when on battery power.
