Send me all information about the website, all you already tried, and a test account if needed, and I'll see what I can do ;-)

Re: SABMobile: Manage your SABnzbd+ remotely from your iPhon
Hi all,
SABMobile v1.9 is now live on the AppStore !
Enhancements:
- Add a way to limit the download speed
- Show a white scrollbar when background is black
- Add multiple links at once
- Save passwords for "add new download" per website
- Add feature "what to do when queue is complete ?"
- Open NZB file from Safari, Mail, ...
- Show date in RSS
Bug fixes:
- Fix "next" textinput in "add new server"
- Split configuration file in several files to avoid settings corruption
- Stop activity indicator when "send file"
- RSS: remove popup when auto get feeds, only when adding new feed
Let me know what you think of it !
Cheers,
Jérôme

Hi,r0bman wrote:WARNING: app will not connect to any ip address....pretty much useless
Could you detail a little bit more the problem you're having ? There's a detailed tutorial to set SABMobile up here: http://dev.patey.net/sabmobile_tuto.html ... I guess you didn't read it.
In any case, if you still encounter issues, the usual way to proceed is to send a mail to the developer, like it's mentioned in my application, with the "Contact me" page. I answer to emails within a few hours.
I have NEVER had anybody telling me the app doesn't work, so your message is pretty much confusing...
Could you clarify ?
Thanks,
Jérôme
EDIT: Moreover, I don't see where you mention the platform you're using, is it Nokia ? Android ? iPhone ? iPad ? Which version are you using ?
Re: SABMobile: Manage SABnzbd+ remotely from iOS/Android/Nok
... r0bman: no answer ? Did you finally make the app work ?

Re: SABMobile: Manage SABnzbd+ remotely from iOS/Android/Nok
Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know that if you have any issue with SABMobile, the best is to send me an email to [email protected] , or at least write a message here (and answer !). Leaving a comment on the Android Market or the AppStore doesn't help, because I can't answer nor ask for more details to reproduce and fix the issue.
That's something for "anton" who has issues with the web browser since last update, and "Peter" who as issues with the "fingerprint scanner on the Atrix", and "Stef" who prefers "sabznbd client"... could you give me more details ?
Thanks,
Jérôme

Re: SABMobile: Manage SABnzbd+ remotely from iOS/Android/Nok
Hi Jérôme,
SABMobile is giving me problems as well. After I bought it today on the Android Market I haven't been able to get it to work.
Whenever I'm trying to connect it gives me the error: "Cannot contact server (Wrong IP/port ?)"
I've followed the tutorial mentioned earlier step by step and I've tried to use it both over the internet and local wifi.
I've also checked the info I used a few times and even deleted the servers and readded them again to ensure I made no mistakes.
Now I really have no idea why it won't work on my Android device. I used to be the owner of an iPhone 3gs on which I also bought SABMobile and it just worked...
I'm using an HTC sensation with Android 2.3.4
Thanks,
evolution106

Could you reproduce the connection errors in the app, then send me a comment from the app ? This will attach the error log so I can try to pinpoint the issue !
Thanks,
Jérôme

Re: SABMobile: Manage SABnzbd+ remotely from iOS/Android/Nok
Thanks to Jérôme the app works now!
The only thing I actually had to do was to manually add an exception for Sabnzbd to the windows firewall though I gave it permission before when it asked me.
I guess I did that the last time I used the app with my iPhone but didn't remember.
Greets,

Hello, I find your app very usable but I would just like to give some feedback.
Can you make it so that one can filter each search based on category? As it is now you can customize your searchers to only include certain categories, but not each individual search. Furthermore, it would be helpful if some more info was shown about the search results, most importantly what categories they are. I know the group name often reflects what category it belongs to, but this is not always clear. Thank you

Re: SABMobile: Manage SABnzbd+ remotely from iOS/Android/Nok
Hi,
I have planned to rework the "Search" screen in v2.0, but haven't had time to work on it yet. I will release a bugfix version in the coming weeks (once iOS beta 5 is out and stable, I will release an iOS version, and align the Android version too). Therefore, I won't add any changes in the search part until that rework is done.
Thanks for your patience,
Jérôme
