You sure the app was set on "link" and not "file"? The documentation under the "more" tab may explain this better.

v2.0 is now live on the app store. Universal support has been added which means you get the iPhone version for free! This update also consists of many bug fixes and UI enhancements. See here for details:

v2.1 has just been submitted. This update will fix the crash that happens when adding an NZB from an external app.

Version 2.2 was just approved by Apple. iPhone 5 support is the main addition.

I will probably add a link for that in a future version, thanks for the suggestion:

Is there proper sickbeard support?

There is a media tab on the ipad version that you can save your sickbeard URL into as a shortcut. I think full sickbeard support would get it pulled off the store like some other apps.

Made an account just to ask this, I've been using an app on my Samsung Galaxy S3 called NZB 360, and it works amazingly well with sickbeard/couch potato, lots of options.
However with this I'm finding that sickbeard and couch potato just don't work? The only way I've managed to get them to work is by not using a password (only tried with couch potato) but that isn't really an option IMO considering I wanted to use this over the internet.
Is there any way around this? Or is it something that will have to be added in a future release?
Thanks.

I emailed you a reply, but for anyone else with this question, here was my response:
Sorry it took so long to reply, but there is an interm fix for your issue. When you type your sickbeard or couchpotato address into their proper fields in SABCommand, try this format:
http://<username>:<password>@<address>:<port>
Some examples:
http://username:[email protected]:8081
http://username:[email protected]:5000
http://username:[email protected]:8081
Hopefully this makes sense, I can take a screenshot if it doesn't work or you don't know what I mean.
I am planning on adding fields for usernames and passwords in the future so the password will be obscured, but this works for now.
