That's normal, they are just hidden until needed.
Is the first par2 file correct.
Can you use a separate repair program on it?

Alternative:
Open a Terminal window.
Go to the "temporary download folder" (usually called "incomplete")
Go to the applicable job folder.
Type:

Code: Select all

/Applications/SABnzbd.app/Contents/Resources/osx/par2/par2-sl v *.par2 *
List the result here.

Yes the first one is correct. I am using MultiPar on it.

I am on a QNAP so I dont think your command works for me.

I will install it on my qnap from scratch and will try again.

After some hours of additional testing I could not solve the problem with .13.
After I have downgraded to .11 everything works for me again.

There's an error in 0.7.13 that pops up when the smallest (and first downloaded) par2 file is missing
or severely damaged.

Hi, any fix on this?
I'm also on a QNAP, now with version 0.7.14 - and I am also having this problem.

Same for me also on v0.7.14. Still working with v11.

Just to add that I also get the same problem with 0.7.14 on QNAP.

First PAR volume only is downloaded, if recovery fails, then no further PAR volumes are downloaded.

Same problem here with 0.7.14 on a QNAP 869. If I knew how to downgrade to an earlier version (IIRC, .11 worked fine), I'd do it in an instant...

If you are using the QPKG (SABnzbdplus (Wrapper)) made by sl1000, you can easaly downgrade to a version that works (.11)
Just follow the the guide about the "Control tags" that are described.
http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=133&t=41670
That is how I downgraded.
You can also force it to stay on specific version, until this bug is fixed.

Thank you very, very much!

edit: Whelp, I must have ballsed it up, because sabnzbd no longer responds. Created a file named FORCE_MANUAL_INSTALL, the content of which is "Download/SABnzbd-0.7.11-src.tar.gz" (without quotes) and copied the gz file to root of Download share. Restarted Sabnzbd, but it came back as 0.7.14. Went to QNAP administration, disabled Sabnzbd, waited for a moment and enabled it. 10 minutes later, and http://192.168.1.29:8800/sabnzbd/ does not respond at all. What did I miss?

e2: disabled and enabled it again, and this time it took. Sabnzbd is up and running 0.7.11.
