Yes, the disk access and cpu load was very high. It eventually finished after 3 hours but all the files had number at the end of them and Sab simply moved it all to my complete folder. Any idea why it did not unpack the files?

Not without more details like the NZB.
If there are only files ending with a .1 then they aren't recognized as RAR files.
What is the extension before the .1?

This is one of the files in the folder with the extension: 153705-0.0.1 - The NZB is: Haven.S03.1080p.BluRay.x264-FLHD

This NZB is too crazy for words.
First of all it contains a load of identical files, so that SABnzbd is forced to rename the duplicates.
The duplicate names are not duplicate files. They are in fact different files, but with the same name.
The odd file names would be corrected by the par2 repair, but SABnzbd cannot make sense of this
download due to all the duplicate names.
