Good morning, I've been struggling with getting SABnzbd up and running as a scheduled task under windows (vice installing as a service) on my WS2016 server. Was pretty close to loosing my mind in figuring out what I was doing wrong, until I came across this thread (24821, in beta forum since I can't post a link). It appears its been an issues since 3.0 beta release. Is this being tracked as a bug and being looked at by chance?

Summary:
* Appears to launch successfully as a startup task with specified user credentials (can see it in task manager);
* Not accessible on specified or default port on host machine or on LAN;
* No log file being generated anywhere for tracing;
* Task manager shows running @ approx 40mb size, vice approx 52mb when running with manual start up.

Edit: I see the post was merged with the beta thread. I didn't mean to annoy anyone, just figured that the bug deserved it's own thread since this is dedicated to the beta releases and this persists to the stable releases as well.

Sorry, just didn't have the time to look at it...
It's such a small use case that I kind of lost track of it.

Hello, I see the bug was closed with no resolution... Any chance you could reopen this issue to resolve it?

I just had no good way to test it really, and it's a lot of work for what seems to be an exotic way of starting SABnzbd.
Why not just use it as a service?
