Hi,

I am using windows vista SP1 Dutch and the monitor keeps saying dat sabnzbd is not running.
I tried opening it with administrator, adding it to windows firewall.

Somebody knows the problem?

Any chance of getting this updated to work with the new sabnzbd+ with the API it works great as a tray monitor in WinXP to monitor my remote server running SABnzbd+

I have just updated the monitor to be able to work with 0.4.9+ (Added support for API key)

If you are updating, please remember to add the following line to your .cfg file, or alternately, delete the .cfg file and run SABnzbdMonitor.exe to create a new cfg file

This looks very useful, but im having the same problem with SABnzbd not being detected on vista.

Tried 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost, tried changing to the default theme, compatability mode, nothing works.

I'll be happy to help you troubleshoot this if you're interested.

I'm using Vista and it works fine for the most part (shows when I add a new nzb, shows the current speed, all that jazz), but whenever I try to use the "SABnzbd control" menu to pause or unpause the queue, it says "An error occurred pausing SABnzbd" (or "unpausing SABnzbd"), and the warning log in SABnzbd says the prog needs the API key. But it has the API key already, obviously, since it's able to show me the current queue/speed info.

It MIGHT be that I have forgotten to include the API key in the calls that work directly with SAB (blush)

I'll take a look, and i'll be back.

Total brainfart on my behalf, I forgot to change the pause/unpause/shutdown functions to use the API key, those are fixed now.

I have just tried to run the software on Windows XP SP3, but when i start it, it crashes at the start.
I've edited regedit for "baloons"

Even updated to .NET Framework 3.

This is the error from the Eventlog Application:
EventType clr20r3, P1 sabnzbdmonitor.exe, P2 2009.6.15.0, P3 4a36040f, P4 mscorlib, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 492b834a, P7 15c, P8 38, P9 system.argumentoutofrange, P10 NIL.

Updating .NET 2 does not work cuz 3 is already installed.

Any1 has some good ideas? I love the SABnzbd software and would like a application like this!

Have you tried deleting the config file, and recreating it by starting the monitor again?

For the record, I'm using sp3 and it works a charm here.

Yep i did, and i also tried it on my PC at work, also XP with SP3 but get the same .NET error...

Could you PM me with the error report, a screenshot, or something?

I am running XP SP3, .NET 3.5, and have never had a problem like you describe.

Still getting the "there was a problem pausing SABnzbd" error. It still pauses SABnzbd though, just that it fires off that message first every time.

Not working with SAB 0.5 alpha.

It incorrectly says "SABnzbd is not running".
