I'll subscribe too. Since I'm probably one of the minority of people using Opera I'll make sure everything works right. I know there have been some issues before that I reported and would be happy to do it again should anything go wrong. Nice to see the releases are still going strong.

I would like to be a tester. I am on a high-speed connection (20Mbps+) running on a MBP. I have some basic python knowledge but it is not my field. Mainly, I would like to ensure the continued robustness of SAB on both OSX and high speed connections.

If you're still looking for more testers, I'd be willing to lend a hand. Since setting up my NAS (UnRAID Server) I've been hitting these forums pretty often to make life easier with Post-Processing and Pre-Processing (Auto Download Script).

Can test on both XP and Debian Etch/Lenny.

Coeluh, dmoniac75.
The main purpose of the Release Test group is to do sanity checks on Beta releases
before we post them to the Beta forum and on Final releases before we release
them as Finals (about a week in advance).
In the past we had some embarrassing accidents where some simple silly errors
caused the recall of releases.
If you're interested in the above, you're welcome.
As an example: the pre-release of 0.4.7RC1 is now available before being released
to the Beta forum by the end of the week.
0.4.7Final will be available to the Release Test group about a week before general availability.

Would love to test the latest release. Would be running it on a Windows Home Server Rig AMD X2 4000, 1 Gig Ram with 4TB space. Been using Sabnzbd on it for a good year now always after the bleeding edge and would be more then happy to help out with any potential bugs.

If you're interested in "the bleeding edge", you should run the "trunk" release.
It's a bit of work to setup (because we have no binaries yet), but worthwhile.
The release test group is to test non-bleeding-edge releases for more cautious people

Thanks will do that instead. One question when i type python setup.py py2exe it throws a message back at me stating usage: setup.py binary|source|app what should i be typing into the command line to compile it.
EDIT: Figured it out. Im officially a moron.

There's no need to compile the program, there are no real benefits.
Just type:
on the command line.
If you insist on compiling you need "setup.py binary".
It probably will not work because it assumes that your PC is
configured in the right way.
My advice don't bother, just run the source file SABnzbd.py.
BTW: don't forget to unzip the file
cherrypy-3.1.1.zip inside the folder where SABnzbd.py is.
You should get a sub-folder
cherrypy.
Do not disturb the folder structure (e.g. you cannot move SABnzbd.py to another folder).
Good luck!

Yeah nah i was a moron because it said build / App / or Source and i had to select which one. I prefer to build it into an App because i dont want the server to have to much installed on it. Keep it as lean as possible. Figured it all out, in the end it was pretty easy, hardest thing was getting the yenc to build on python 2.5 and got around that.
Thanks for your help shypike very much appreciated. Running the latest trunk now on my server and will let you know if there are any issues.

I'm not sure whether I can provide that help to you. I think I will just use it, and post bugs when I encounter them. If that is enough, sign me up.
