Hi,

Please send me a comment from the app after having tried to download from the web part, where nothing happens.

Hello,

I am unable to access SABnzbd remotely through my local lan or Edge/3G.

I am really not interested in connecting via local wifi, mainly edge or 3G so I can download files from work.

I have successfully forwarded external port 12345 with local port 12345 and local port 8080. I checked that 12345 was forwarded correctly through portforward.com's port checker app. My local and WAN ip's are both static. I am 100% sure I forwarded the ports to the correct local IP.

My SABnzbd uses port 8080 and I have copied the API key perfectly in to the app. I am also using the correct external IP.

My App settings look like this

Name: Home
Server IP: 220.*.*.* (just in case someone hacks me :D)
Server Port: 12345
HTTPS/SSL: Off (whenever I turn it on, google chrome has a red strike through HTTPS, so i turned it off in SABnzbd and restarted the app)
Use API key: On
API Key: 76868e4..... etc (The same API key I used to get the google chrome add-on to work)

Connect Via SSH Tunnel: Off

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Yes, of course, it's better in 3G, but you must first try in wifi to make sure that everything work, and then, move to external/3G.

You can only forward ONE port to ONE port, you can't forward one port to 2 ports, it won't work. So forward 12345 to 8080.

You're forwarding to 2 ports, which isn't good :)

Ok, so I deleted the other port forward and now external 12345 is only forwarded to internal 8080.

But now the portforward app says that 12345 is not forwarded correctly.

What now?

Thanks

Hi,

I don't know what the port foward app is, but if you forward 12345 to 8080 in TCP, and set SABMobile to use the port 12345, it should work fine.

If not, please make sure the app works in WIFI first.

If you can't make it work in 3G, but it works in WIFI, send me screenshots of your router config to [email protected], and send me a comment from the app after the successful WIFI connection, and the failed 3G connection. I will be able to check the errors you have.

Jérôme

It was my firewall!

It was set to automatic filtering mode. I set it to interactive filtering mode and allowed SABnzbd to connect through the open ports and now it is working perfectly through Edge/3G!

ESET Smart Security runs so nice and quietly in the background I forget it's there half the time. :P

Thanks so much for your help! This app rocks!

Hi,

I don't think it's possible ! You have to install it from the OVI Store on your phone.

Hi App Developer,

I'm not understanding how to use an rss feed from nzbs.org.

SABMobile is able to tell me what's downloading, and I was able to add an rss feed and see things to download, but when i touch the download arrow I get taken to the web view. I was expecting SABMobile to send a request to my sabnzbd server instructing it to download the nzb referenced in the rss feed. In the web view I tried clicking download but that didn't seem to do anything, I don't see nzb files in my downloads directory. If I return to the rss feed i see a checkmark next to the item i wanted to download.

I'm using gingerbread.

Thanks for any help.

Hi, I have downloaded your app from the Appsore. After reading your connection tutorial I am still a bit confused!

I am using the SABMobile app which allowes me to connect to my SABnzb+ on my MAC. I am able to connect locally using your app, but I cannot find a way to get it working through the internet, I try to use the DynDns.org but until now I am not able to.

Do you have any idea, how I could solve it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

BR.

Hi,

You need to configure your internet router, to forward an external port to your Mac. For that, you will have to read your router manual.

If you can't make it work, send me a screenshot of your router port forwarding configuration page by email ([email protected]) and I'll help you.

Cheers,
Jérôme
