SABnzbd Forums

This is something that has been sorely missed since I moved over to NZBmatrix - has anyone got any updates? I'm using sabnzbd 0.5.2 and the SABConnect Chrome extension and as far as I can tell it's still a no go.

Someone over at the NZBmatrix forums says that the latest dev release of sabnzbd includes a fix for the issue, if so - where do I sign up? 

The public test release 0.5.3RC1 contains it.

Any idea what the schedule is with regards to the release of 0.5.3?

When we got enough feedback.
You can use RC1, there will very few changes.
In fact the only change we would still want to do is when we
finally get a grip on the alleged nzbmatrix failures.
0.5.3.RC1 is definitely better than 0.5.2

Just tried 0.5.3RC1 with SABconnect and NZBmatrix - still the same problem, auto-categorisation doesn't work. Has anyone got the same setup with which they could try?

It does work, as long as you enter nzbmatrix categories in the group column of the category.
User category "Linux", in the group column enter "apps.linux"or "*.linux".

Will this only work for using the RSS function of nzbmatrix, or will it work for the nzbstatus plugin for Firefox?

SABnzbd can only determine the category when it fetches the NZB from nzbmatrix.com by itself.
If nzbStatus downloads the NZB itself, it will need to determine the category by itself and send it to SABnzbd.

This sounds awesome. I have 0.53rc1 but don't understand how to implement it ;/

I have a feed for my bookmarks and am looking to auto categorize incoming stuff specifically TV: HD --> tv folder (I can figure the rest hopefully)

Any pointers/tutorial would be much appreciated.

Cool, got most of it figured out. I can't seem to get Audio Books to work correctly though ;/
