I didn't do anything. just copy/paste.
it's the one located in the AppData\Local\sabnzbd\logs folder (not the one found in the "log path" set up in config > folders > system folders > log folder).
looking through my setup a bit more (with autoruns), I do realize I may have 2 shortcuts that launch sabnzbd: one is called from C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
and the other is run through C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Program\Startup
I'll try to remove one of those (but I suppose sabndbzd handles only one instance and drop the second try).
weird to say the least.
to be fully complete, I also use SABnzbdMonitor, mentionned here.
I don't think this app launches sabnzbd on its own. I don't see any option for that.

Re: Wizard loop - every time i start my pc
I have the strong suspicion that two instances start at the same time.
This may very well explain the access problems.
The second instance cannot delete files in use by the first.

Re: Wizard loop - every time i start my pc
k. I only have one starting from now on.
I'll keep you updated to tell you if everything is back to normal in a few days (or couple of weeks to make sure).
thx.

Re: Wizard loop - every time i start my pc
I managed to fix the problem by simply installing the software on my D drive instead of my C drive. The note about having two instances running could be true, since sometimes a second sab would appear in my startup folder.
Re: Wizard loop - every time i start my pc
so far so good.
the 2nd instance trying to startup at approx. the same time seemed to be the problem on my side...
thanks for all the help in narrowing that down.
