Try putting /sabnzbd after your port number in NZB 360's settings.

Like so: 8085/sabnzbd

My buddy put up a private indexer for friends. It's a standard newznab sever. I configured a new indexer, added the url and api key. when i try to connect, i get the "error retrieving info from server." message. i can connect through the web just fine. any suggestions?

Is he using https? Make sure to put the http:// or https:// in front of the URL.

I'm also getting the "connection timeout" error all of the sudden. Sickbeard tab works with same ip settings. I've tried with port only and port+folder name. I haven't changed any settings in NZB 360 but I probably have updated Sabnzbd in the last month or so. I'm on:

NZB 360 v 5.1.1
Sabnzbd v 0.7.6

SABnzbd previously worked before? Can you connect to SAB via your browser on your phone?

Ok folks no offense to any blonde women in here but I had a blonde moment. My Tablet doesn't have an external ip it has a local ip. So portforwarding is not needed. All I did to get this to work was put the local ip of the desktop in and boom it connected and works like a champ. I am not sure why I didn't state that in my original post. Its a wifi only tablet. Sure this will not work when I am out and about from home but now i can sit in my living room and manage my queue and pause it and possibly add an nzb or 2 to it. I still will have to figure out when I am on another wifi connection to see if I can control it.

I will have to change the settings in it if I go out with my tablet and want to connect to it. I still have port forwarding enabled in the router so that should help.

Any news on headphones been added in?

Headphones support is still a ways off. I am working on some improvements to Newznab and trying to support nzbx.co, as well as a pretty nifty feature for 5.2 =)

Ok. Turns out that the "General-->SABnzbd Host" setting needed to be set to "0.0.0.0". Previously, I would leave it empty and it would listen on whatever my IPv4 was. Something must have changed in one of the last updates of Sabnzbd?

Also, any chance of support for newztown.co.za?

Anyone manage to successfully add nzbs.org? Since they've added a captcha to the login page I can't get NZB 360 to connect...

I just got a Nexus 4, and NZB360 is still crashing the same way it was with my Nexus 7. I sent a crash report to you recently.

I think i said this before, but basically it only crashes if i Send to Sab when sending from search results (searching using NZB.su). If I just browse through the categories and Send to sab, then it works fine.

Hmmm. At this point, I am at a loss. Would you be willing to share your API key with me for a few hours so I can debug? I am shooting in the dark with fixes without actually being able to test =(


Quick update on v5.2: It's awesome, and will be here very shortly. Some seriously good stuff is in v5.2 =)
