I've been trying to get sorted all day and I'm hoping someone can help!?

I've set up port forwarding and I've set up dyndns too. I can access SABnzbd through Safari on my iPhone via http://xxxx.dyndns.org:8085/sabnzbd/

I can access both through wifi and cellular network but I can't get myNZB to work at all. I get the message "Unable to connect to SABnzbd (The request timed out)".

Anyone any idea why this is.

I'm using the following settings in myNZB

Host = xxxx.dyndns.org
Port = 8085
Username = none
Password = none
Use API = Yes
API Key = Copied from SABnzbd
Use HTTPS = off

I'm using this on the new iPhone 4. Is that my problem or should it still work and I'm doing something else wrong?....

Any help much appreciated.

**** UPDATE ****

I don't know if this is relevant or not but I can't get SABnzbd to work off port 8080. Everytime I put that port into the general settings on my host PC and save and restart, it restarts fine but it has reverted back to 8085. I'm not sure whay this is or if this would cause a problem for mNZB. Also Ive tried both '0.0.0.0' and '192.XXX.X.XX' for the host in SABnzbd.

Getting pretty frustrated now, especially as it works no problem on Safari on my iPhone.

I really need to stop checking the app store every 2 seconds hopeing for an update to appear. Lol.

I take it then that nobody can help with my connection issues through myNZB?

This is a bit disappointing, and a bit of a waste of money, as I can also connect no problem from work through Firefox using the same address, just not through myNZB.

If anyone can think of anything which may help me (I've read this entire thread twice), it would be very much appreciated.

Try "localhost" in the Host field in SABNZBd+ config, then try to use 8080 port.
If it works the app will crash when loading (because you have iOS4), then you'll just have to wait that Apple validates the update and there you go

Thanks for the reply but when I try localhost in SABnzbd I can't access through either myNZB or externally via Safari. It also still defaults to port 8085.

Is Apple ever going to approve this update? 

who knows been a few days

Apple has been taking about a week to approve updates. It was submitted Sunday and Monday was a holiday so it's really been about 2 day.

Sorry if this has been asked already - but is there any way that in the future, support could be added to view custom newzbin searches? Or even create custom searches within the app? For example, in addition to just "Movies", i have a search for 1080p x264 movies on newzbin. Would be great if i could directly access this search through the app
