The Pre won't delete any application information upon using webOS doctor. All application info is still there after you doctor it along with everything else.
Sorta... but I'm pretty sure a device menu full erase + doctor returns the phone to full stock... so, little zany

You're right, but it looks like a lot of the information is synced back to the phone when you log in to your Palm profile.

Yes, a full erase deletes application data and pretty much everything. But the Pre backs up a lot. All official applications are backed up along with data saved with it. Even backs up your internet cookies... Love this phone...

Excellent app I'm loving using it! Thanks for all your effort.
I just wanted to suggest/ask you add the "On queue finish" options, mainly 'Shutdown PC' as that would be really useful for me :p. Then I'd be able to wake my PC up with WoL over internet, add some downloads and set the PC to shutdown again when it's all done.
Thanks again, keep up the good work
.
Just uploaded 0.2.9 which adds this feature. You guys should be able to update in a couple hours.

Updated and gave it a go; works perfectly!
Thanks for adding my suggestion, I'll let you know if I have any other ideas.

I am so blown away by this app! What absolutely excellent work, the execution is perfect.
I just got in to usenet stuff a couple of days ago, and now I have sickbeard fully automating my downloads via SABnzbd, and can monitor the whole thing on my PRE!!
- I have to vote for internal search/browse capabilities. If its done nearly as well as the rest of the app it will be golden! I find the browser a bit difficult to use.
- related to the last point, landscape mode would help alot. I find I have to zoom too far in to do anything, then not enough fits on the screen.
- Any way to change priorities or categories of existing queued downloads right from the program?
Thanks so much for this software!

Integrated searching is not going to happen any time soon. It's just too big of an undertaking. I'd never thought about landscape mode for the browser, I will definitely look into that. Changing priority, category, etc of queue items has been in the works for a while... you should see it before too long. Thanks for the kind words and suggestions.

OK guys, I just uploaded 0.2.10. You should be able to update from your phone in a couple hours.
Those of you that are looking for a way to quickly queue many downloads at once, 0.2.10 has a potential solution for you. Unfortunately, it only works with Newzbin. On the "Add NZB" scene, you'll notice a new button labeled "Get Bookmarks Now." What you can do is use the internal browser or the normal browser and go to Newzbin and bookmark all the posts you want to download (just tap the little book icon in the search results). Then hit the "Get Bookmarks Now" button and SABnzbd will grab each of the reports you just bookmarked. Let me know how this works out for you guys.
I am blatantly stealing this from pair of dimes' mobile UI, so thank him for the idea.

I cannot get this app to see the server. I've tried forwarding all kinds of ports and follow with a port scan from outside which shows whatever port I'm attempting is wide open.
What the heck am I missing? My API key is there and valid. my login is valid, I can test the settings fine internally with NZBStatus - but when I try from outside i can't reach it.

if you can access your server from an outside computer then the app can see it too. Can you bring up the web interface on your phone or a friend's computer? Also, make sure sab is set to listen on 0.0.0.0

Hey guys, just uploaded 0.2.11. This update provides some pretty significant performance improvements, particularly if you have a very large queue or history. You should be able to update in a couple hours.

No, I can't get the webserver from outside. Says it's taking too long to respond. I'm not sure what's blocking...it's like the response from the server isn't getting through.
A tracert from my pc to the phone gives
C:\Users\p-niiice>tracert 7xxxxx1.216
Tracing route to 7xxxx16.pools.spcsdns.net [xxxxxx216]over a maximum of 30 hops:

Those timeouts are probably just snmp being blocked - the pc is getting out. I'm not sure what to do next.
edit: also sab was set to localhost but i changed it to 0.0.0.0...same result.

This is resolved, and I'm not sure why.

This is a great program (props to the developer). I've had it set up for a while and just recently got it going with SickBeard and I'm loving it. A couple suggestions I think would help:
- Newzbin is gone for good, so the removal of it from the application (and possibly replacement with an alternative?) is suggested.
- If the app could run as a service in the background that would periodically check the server for downloads and register a WebOS notification for when downloads start/finish/error. Would be great for letting me know a show's episode downloaded while I'm away.
I just think that with WebOS' awesome notification system, it'd work perfectly when showing "House S06E21 has finished downloading." Great app nonetheless, keep up the good work.
