Couldn't install it by yum, but get all the files from repo and that works fine.

Thank you.

Package is OK (not corrupted) and redirection to dropbox does not cause any trouble.
Something is wrong with repository metadata genrated by "createrepo" command on a Fedora 15 machine. For Fedora repositories, it works OK but it doesn't work anymore for CentOS 5.
It's solved by creating metadata for CentOS on CentOS... Annoying.

SABnzbd-beta updated to 0.6.0-RC2.

Please tell me if yum is still not happy with metadata for CentOS 5.

SABnzbd updated to 0.6.0. It obsoletes (updates) SABnzbd-beta. Maybe you need to start the service manually after updating from SABnzbd-beta.

I can download 0.5.6.el5 from dropbox, but the repo isn't working for me on Fedora 14.

Sorry for the delay. Works great! Running 0.6.0-1.el5 right now.

Hi all !

I am trying to install SABNzbd on Scientific Linux 6 (a REDHAT 6 clone like CentOS). All the dependencies are available in the base Scientific Repo (sl.repo) excepted for python-yenc. I can build it from source with python but i don't manage to install the SABNzbd Redhat 6 package (python-yenc is necessary ....)
If anybody know where i can find that package for Redhat 6/Scientific Linux 6/CentOS 6 (available by the end of the month)

Thanks a lot

Hi,
Oh, I didn't know that SL6 had been released.
I just built python-yenc (i386 and x86_64) and SABnzbd-0.6.1. Please try using SABnzbd.repo linked in the first post of this thread (RHEL instructions). Tell me if something else is missing...

You are the man Hansvon  ;)
I have installed the python-yenc manually then SABNzbd with your package. I can launch SABNzbd and i will try some downloads tonight.

I have to say that it's not working using the repo file:
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
http://hansvon.homelinux.org/SABnzbd/RH ... repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14500830/SABnzb ... repomd.xml
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: SABnzbd. Please verify its path and try again

But that's enough for me right now :)

Last question: do u plan to release 0.6.1 for Redhat 6 ?

Thanks a lot again

OK, I see, your $releasever is equal to 6.0 (not 6). I made new repo files for RHEL 5-6 and clones. For RHEL6, this one.
Last question: do u plan to release 0.6.1 for Redhat 6 ?
Well it's already done. CentOS and Scientific Linux are just clones of Red Hat Enterprise. They are 100% compatible.
