its the real thing tweaked to run under XP
http://www.tweakwindows.nl/index.php?p=tools&id=251
its a dutch site but the downloads are english and the pictures to say a lot.
tell me if you need help!
EDIT:
not as many pictures as i remember lol.
download: Extra.exe and Vista_5744_Sidebar_Setup_v2.2.exe
install first Extra.exe and then the setup.
the setup asks you for a vista serial key but you can choose to skip it (like me, and it did work perfectly)
reboot your computer (or kill explorer.exe and logout and login or do something other nerdy to continue without rebooting
)
i think Extra.exe is for the Vista fonts and to be able to run vista apps on xp. (i am not sure)
on every .exe on my system i now have a new option in the right click menu called "Run Vista executable" and "Patch and Run vista executeable"

Nice !
Unfortunately that it doesn't work for me. If i use an ip-adres as host, it removes the dots and doesn't connect.
For example:
Host 192.168.1.1
Try connection -> connected!
Then push the OK button, no connection.
After opening the configuration again it states:
Host 19216811
So, can you fix this problem please?

ah thanks, thats a nasty bug!
you can solve it by adding something to your host file for now.
open c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in notepad and add a new row:
192.168.1.1 myhostname
tell me if you need help. i will solve the problem in the new release!

The new version will have a graph just like yoppybt showed in the screenshot op his personal gadget
thanks yoppybt for the great idea!
the graph will only show if the KB/s are shown. when the mode is ETA then the graph will be hidden.
i also made the graph alpha transparent so you can still see the jobs trough it.

some other things i am working on right now:
1. I have removed the pause/resume buttons (you can now click on the top left indicator on the gadget to pause or resume)
2. Now that there is more space on the bottom of the gadget i can add new buttons.
i am already working on an feature to change category of a job. (see the screenshot)
3. you can now click on jobs to select them. (see screenshot)
EDIT:
by the way i fixed the IP address bug that GerardH reported. The fix will be included in the next version.

Hi,
Great work!
From were can I download the latest version?
The link here (a couple of replies back) is of an older version.
I realy like the graph etc.!
I only miss one feature (which you do not have planned) that is the possibility of changing the download order.
The icons at the bottom (the one with the cross) that is to cancel a job, right?
Keep up the good work!
Ps. I love the option to open the sabnzbd+ webgui!

i'm still working on some final touches but it will be online soon.
the graph works nicely and i like it to
sadly i don't know (yet) how to change the order of the queue via the API so i need to look in to it.
and yes the cross is a cancel button but it does not work yet for the same reason as the above problem.
Ill keep you all posted!

I just uploaded the new release!
this does include the speed graph but some features where disabled becouse they are not ready yet.
You can now choose a category for the newly added downloads.
disabled features:
category selection on job level.
remove job
these features are completed when the new API comes available.
have fun and let me know if you have problems or suggestions.

Just an FYI, but I downloaded the 1.0.03 version. The icon does not change when clicking on the top left indicator on the gadget to pause or resume. It stays as the pause button even though it does change when viewing via web interface.
Thanks,
Kizer

No suggestions just a big thanks for fixing my 'problem'
The ip-adres works correct, and even the remaining time is now correct.

Too bad, the fix for the ip-adres does not work. I will try it with a server-name (just changed it) but if you use an ip-adres it works, but it doesn't save the ip-adres. The next time you start you're pc it tries the 127.0.0.1 ip-adres again.

the gadget doesn't save any settings yet. so everytime you start the gadget it will load default settings.
i will fix this of course in later versions.
i will be on vacation for the next 2 weeks so i can't work on the gadget
thanks for the reply!
