It'll be removed in the next update, but I'm not sure when that's going to be.

I just think that with WebOS' awesome notification system, it'd work perfectly when showing "House S06E21 has finished downloading." Great app nonetheless, keep up the good work.

It would be awesome if it could work that way, and maybe I'll get around to finding an intelligent way to do it, but initial experimentation with automatic updating and/or notifications basically murdered the battery.

Lots of people have requested the addition of more indexing sites, but there's basically been a couple of things blocking that from happening.

First, WebOS doesn't have a way for an app to associate itself as a handler for specific file types yet. That's a pretty significant hurdle for sites like nzbs.org that don't have any explicit support in SABnzbd.

That video was taken about 1/4 of a mile away from my apartment. The building where I work was completely destroyed in the flood and the ensuing (and ongoing) recovery efforts have pretty much absorbed all of the (admittedly sparse) free time I've had since then. I want to continue improving the app, but given everything that's happened, it's pretty low priority.

I had thought about battery life and I just took an educated assumption that it was the reason it hadn't been put in there from the start. Sucks about the flood man but do what you gotta do and be safe. This is a great program at the state it's in right now and it'll be fine on the back burner for a while.

Unfortunately, no. SABnzbPre is written with the Mojo framework from WebOS 1.x and 2.x. HP introduced a totally new framework called Enyo with WebOS 3.x. Doing an HD version would require me to learn the Enyo framework and then essentially re-write the app from scratch, all for a platform that is essentially dead.

However, SABnzbPre has always been open source, so if anyone else would like to tackle the task of porting it to Enyo, you can find the source here:
