did anyone get this great program to work with NZBget as a downloader instead of sabnzbd?
My problem is that NZBget doesn't seem to have a dedicated folder for archiving downloaded NZBs and MovieGrabber won't work without that.
Any ideas? Did I miss something?
Thanks.
hi grmn, nothing stopping you pointing moviegrabber at an empty folder for the archive folder, all this will mean is that moviegrabber wont be able to tell whether a certain nzb has been sent to your downloader (nzbget in your case), and thus it is possible that you might see the same movie downloaded/queued again, moviegrabber will still check your completed folder though and your movies downloaded if defined, so this shouldnt be too much of an issue.

I am having trouble getting moviegrabber working with nzb.su. I have sickbeard/couchpotato working just fine.
2013-03-07 23:08:34,239 WARNING MovieGrabber newznab_index :: Newznab API XML search failed.
Any suggestions?
NM I fixed it. - Was using the wrong port. Should have been using port 443.

Binhex and I have traded some messages around the problem I am having with the new version, I would like to see if anyone else is having issues.
Basically I have installed a clean version and history and queue is filling up. Anytime I click on the SAB icon or use the check box and then release the queue, nothing happens.
I have checked and rechecked the path to my blackhole. Downloading nzbs directly from a newzap server to the blackhole does work.
I have set log to "info" level but nothing logs when I click the buttons and try to download.
I guess next step is to turn queue off and and see if anything downloads direct as matches to my criteria are found.
Cheers,

I have just tried my copy and I seem to get the same thing.
I tick the select box but the release box at the bottom does not do so. Again nothing in the log.

Looks like downloads are working if I turn off queue and don't use SAB button or checkbox with release button.

Hi Yes I'm aware of the issue, it's due to kat changing the format of the tags used in their rss feed, will be fixed in next release which should be out by next week.

Hi Binhex,
A great future enhancement might be to have a setting for language. Seems like postings for non-English movies are growing on newzap servers which is a good thing, but I would like to only download a non-English movie if the rating is very high.
Maybe if MG could use following logic:
- if language is in file name then process
- if language is not in file name, the use either language or country where movie was made on IMDB site. So English could be something like USA, UK, Aus.
I just looked at Die Hard 2 as it was in my history list and the languages were English and Spanish, maybe primary language is first, but maybe grouping languages by country would be better.
Maybe easier way to deal is to have a list of countries and you can check your primary countries and then have a secondary list of countries with a different IMDB rating.
Not sure why MG does not get the same hype as CouchPotato, I think MG is much better!!
Thanks for all your hard work to bring us this great program!
Cheers
