it says look at log file in location xxx
here is the log it means nothing to me.
it was working ok yesterday and not today?
Maby someone here can advise?

You've probably filled out some 'strange' IP address at 'host'.

Solution:
Stop SABnzbd (if it's still running)
Open sabnzbd.ini with an text editor (notepad, vi, gedit, etc). For the location of sabnzbd.ini see http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc18
Find the *first* occurence of "host =". It has some IP address or name. Change it to "host = localhost". Save the file and exit the editor
Start SABnzbd again

Good that it works again. What was filled out at the "host = "? The only valid values I can think of are: localhost, 127.0.0.1, 0.0.0.0 and ::. You probably had another IP address or a name, right?

So 192.168.x.y or 10.x.y.z? There is no reason to fill that out. And possible reason that it did not work anymore: your PC got a different IP address via DHCP. Check with ifconfig or ipconfig.

when i first installed it it did not work with localhost so i made my pc static ip from router and inputed it into the .ini

Aha. Instead of localhost, it is safer to use "127.0.0.1".
