I thought it was obvious from my post, but I will explain. The WDTV along with most media extenders support movie sheets Moviesheets are fullscreen, prerendered images which are displayed as background when you select a folder or media file. There are several programs that that scan your movie collection and download the moviesheet to the movie directory. However, I have not been able to find one that has command line support that works. If I had a command line version, or perl script that went out to IMDB as an example and downloaded the moviesheet, I can tie it into sabnzbd. I know there are APIs available so I may just write one. However, was wondering if anybody else knows of of one.

I once was in search for the elusive command line moviesheet generator. It took to long for someone to create and I removed Moviesheets from my WDTV box back to Thumbnails that
Sickbeard and
CouchPotato can create.
If your heart is really set on finding the elusive command line moviesheet generator. A good place to find it is in the WDTV forums

I have tryed to post requests for
Thumbgen to include a command line interface but no luck.
Try
WDTV HD Movie Sheet Generator last time i check they had some kind of command line support
