PPS to launch an app

I use couch potato but currently it has no post processing so i have Media Center Master that scans the movie folder for new movies and downloads all the nfo, images, renames folder and grabs the xbmc related files.
Currently I have it starting up with the pc, but its pretty much a waste seeing as I get only a handful of movies every month. What I would like is then to compile a script that literally just launches it when a movie finishes downloading, nothing special, does not even have to terminate the app after a time period, just launch and forget.
Any help would be much appreciated.
