0.7.0b2 - Really poor performance adding new jobs

Hi all,

I've just upgraded to 0.7.0b2 recently, and for some reason it seems to have resulted in really poor performance adding jobs new jobs into the queue.

EG - When I save nzb files to the watch folder, my whole sabnzbd seems to almost grind to a complete halt. My download speed crashes down to almost 0 (then I'll get a burst of full speed for a second or two before it crashes again. Lather, rinse & repeat), any links that I click on (within sabnzbd) take 5-10+ seconds to load, and it takes nearly a minute to import each nzb file into the queue.

As soon as it's finished importing the last nzb file though, everything starts running perfectly again.

So ... just a couple of notes at this point. It's not my whole computer that's having problems when this happens. Everything outside of sabnzbd still runs fine, and my system resources aren't (even close to) being taxed.

Besides that, I’m not really sure where to begin troubleshooting this one. It’s kind of an odd problem, but if there’s any other information that you think might be handy/helpful, by all means just ask. FWIW I don’t see anything glaringly obvious in any of the standard log files.

I've had sabnzbd running on this machine since 0.5x (and every version since then) and I haven’t had any dramas prior to the 0.7 upgrade

Version:0.7.0b2
OS: Ubuntu 12.04 x64
Install-type: jcfp repo
Skin (if applicable): Plush - gold
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? Not sure. I haven’t tried another install.

What happens when you stop 070 and run 0.6.x?

Download the 0.6.15 source version (http://sourceforge.net/projects/sabnzbd ... z/download), unpack it in some directory, go into that directory, run it ...
