Not a bug, but a note

Post by tymanthius »

I've noticed that in Beta3, running on ubuntu 10.04 that the free space display only shows for the drive where your default folders are.

My default complete & incomplete folders are in /home/<username>, but most of what I download actually gets moved into /media/video/tv or /media/video/movies or /media/video/books.

Each of those is seperate hd. Is there any way Sab can show free space for all configured directories?

Not a big deal, but I was curious.

If you have 20 categories, you can have 20 different drives as destination.
So yes, we could do something, but it would still have limited use.

I did think of a function for this, but I have NO idea how practical it would be to implement.

Have the free space be checked on a per category basis. If that category's folder/mount point doesn't have enough freespace, pause only items for that category, but allow other items to continue downloading.

Just an idea, feel free to ignore it as I am not a programmer and don't understand the complexities involved in my suggestion. :)
