Since installing 0.7.1 the download speed is only displaying 1 KB/s when I know I'm getting ~20MB/s.
Is there a fix for this please ??
TIA.

Aren't you just trying to download something outside the retention period of the Usenet provider?
Are you using pre-check (Config->Switches)? (Which will always report a low speed.)
Other than that, clear your browser's cache.

Yes, it did say something about outside retention period, is that why?
The age on NZBMATRIX is not outside the retention period though.
No pre-check settings in config->switches - has it moved in 0.7.1 ??

Nowadays Usenet providers often receive DMCA takedown requests.
The more mainstream your provider is, the more chance.

In config -> switches, the pre-check is called
Check before download
Try to predict successful completion before actual download (slower!)

During a download, you can hover your mouse pointer over the download; it will then give additional information, and AFAIK it will also tell the number of missing articles. A lot of missing articles is bad, and explains the low download number: No articles are succesfully being downloaded ...
