sabnzbd never completes download (2-4 mb left)

Hi Guys,

I use the latest stable version of sabnzbd, but since a few weeks, my downloads will hang at almost 100% complete.

This happes to all the nzb's i tried to download. They end with 4 mb to go, but never finish.

When I download those files with sabnzbd for OS X there's no problem. Can someone help?

I use ubuntu 12.04 for this issue

Can you see what kind of files are left in the job?
Click on the title of the job.
You can force termination by setting the pseudo-priority "stop".

Can you tell me under what heading the setting can be found? I seem to overlook it.

First another other question.
What are these settings in Config->Switches, section Server?
Maximum retries
Only for optional servers

Do you see a priority in the job lines in the queue?
Set that to "Stop" for each non-terminating job.
Please keep the involved NZBs, I might need them for further examination.
Which Usenet provider(s) do you use?
(PM anything that you wish to remain confidential to me instead of posting it here.)

After I use the function "stop" they now start post-processing.
1 job failed (not enough repair blocks 44 short)
1 job failed (1 blocks short)

Start downloading extra pars, but again, not an improvement (says downloading, but does not)

I use Supernews as newsserver.

OK, you probably hit the bug that was solved in 0.7.3Beta2, i.e. after the retry.
I cannot quite fathom what's happening initially.
Nevertheless, I would like to have the NZB file, so I can double check.

Also did the update to the 0.73, but the issues still stands. (did a complete reboot and a complete re-download after the update)

No problems here with Ubuntu 12.04, SABnzbd 0.7.3 and Supernews.
Repairs and unpacks properly.
Do you use more than one server?
I would need to see a Debug log (Status page) to see what goes wrong on your system.

I do think this is strange too, I did not have issues before, and sometimes it lets some downloads go trough. First I thougt is was because of multiple downloads (But, its not).

Can you not find what causes the problem? I've checked the log and found some erros, but dont know what to do with it.

Not on the basis of that log.
It's just "Info" records, only "Debug" level is useful.
Change that on the Status page and wait for a new problem to occur.

I am very willing to get this sorted out, it may lead to an improved SABnzbd.
But without information there's nothing I can do.
The download went well when I did it, with a nearly identical setup.
That doesn't mean that there isn't a problem in SABnzbd,
but I'm not going to find out without more information.
Ideally, I would have a full, debug log of the download and post processing on your system.
You can make such a log.

Can you just zip all log files in the log folder and email those to [email protected] ?
