Hello, love sab, couldn't live without it now, but i was wondering since a couple of peeps have is running on their qnap nas boxes, any chance of seeing it on an infrant readynas? i know this is probably outside the scope of this feature request section but even if this is unfeasable for the devs perhaps they could just help the peeps over at the infrant forums get started in the right direction?

http://www.readynas.com/forum/ heres the link, its a very active and friendly forum, so good infact that it sold the readynas to me!, please if you get a spare 5 minutes pop over and have a look there is already a thread started http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic ... it=sabnzbd where a couple of addon devs are trying to get it working, believe me alot of people would use it thank you

Looking at the last post in the forum, I'd say that creating Python 2.5 has gone wrong.
The zlib module is a standard part of Python2.5.

Are you sure that installing Python went OK?
Have you carefully read Python's build instructions?
Did you look at the build output?

Open a shell and start Python, then type:

Code: Select all

import gzip
What happens?

Edit: I see that someone on the ReadyNas forum suggests to use:apt-get install zlibc
Does that solve the problem?
Possibly you need to install zlibc first and then compile Python.

It works on a QNAP out the box via QPKG.

Then overwwrite the 0.4.2 qpkg files with 0.4.4.
