Hi all.

I put together a small App for my iPhone, first it started out only as a Newzbin tool but since I'm using it with SABNzbd I added some extra features. It's nice when you don't have a computer next to you and need something in a hurry.

I guess it could be used with other indexing services but since I only use Newzbin I don't know how 3rd party friendly other sites are.

Please feel free to comment and let me know if this is anything you'd like to see in the App Store. I'm not sure how many people use Newzbin+SABNzbd and have an iPhone.

Yep, only through the App Store, if it gets accepted that is. It would be free of course.

It seems like you'd have an easier time throwing this in a Cydia repository before shooting for the Apple Store.

Thanks. I haven't looked into the Cydia/Installer world, not sure how it goes with the official SDK. I've already paid for the iPhone Developer Program so I can publish applications.

I'll also be adding more features soon, e.g. stop/pause/resume and stuff like that.

can't wait to get my hands on this. The sabnzbd+ iphone web interfaces are decent, but a bit slow loading on edge. and the integrated newzbin search is a GREAT addition!
I realise this is difficult as it doesn't seem to be supported by the API, but a history tab would be brilliant!

I've always want to do this, but not get enough time to do it...
Do you plan to release it in Open source ?

The NDA is very strict, not sure it allows releasing code using the SDK. I'd have no problem doing it when the NDA is lifted though.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Is there an ETA for the history API?

The history api is slated for 0.5, however I don't have a solid date for you for that.

Cydia/Installer might be your best option as it seems like it takes a good while for Apple to accept programs for their appstore

Adding my vote for this app...I'd definitely use it...

Any chance of adding other sources than Newzbin? I get my nzb's from free sites...

I love the look of this...
