In the changelog for 0.7.3 I read "- Try to keep OSX Mountain Lion awake as long as downloading and postprocessing run" well, SABnzbd fails here. During a download at the set time the Mac will go in standby mode, then when waking SABnzbd will be stalled. I have to manually close and restart it in order for my downloads to resume.

This is a regression from the 0.6.x series (and I'm not sure for 0.7.0-0.7.2 since I didn't use those much.)

The test case is simple, set your standby time to 15 minutes or so, start a download which takes longer to complete. See the Mac go into standby. Upon waking the menu bar icon will show "------ B/s" until SABnzbd is restarted.

Workaround: I use the utility "Caffeine" (not Apple's cli program but the menu bar utility) to keep the Mac awake indefinitely.

0.7.3 runs OSX's caffeinate periodically.
It works fine on my system, but that's a mac Mini and not one of the new laptops.
The next release will use the official system calls to keep the Mac awake.
Power management is a bitch on OSX (and likewise on Windows).

It may be related to the interval then, on my Mac mini (late 2009) the system falls asleep still. My "computer sleep" is set to 10 minutes, perhaps this is too short an interval for the caffeinate tool?

Maybe.
SABnzbd runs it for 5 minutes and it may take up to 30 sec before it's relaunched.
So it shouldn't be an issue, but you never know.
10 minutes is a bit aggressive for a desktop system.

I am having a lot of trouble since I updated to o.7.3
My D/l keep stopping and I have to restart it every time.
Can anyone help me ?

Set your OSX power settings less aggressive.
Or wait for 0.7.4, which has (hopefully) a working solution.
The problem isn't caused by SABnzbd itself but by OSX and more
"background" programs suffer from this.

You could downgrade to 0.7.2 or whatever version you used before.
If the problem goes away then I would be very interested to know
because that would mean that SABnzbd itself is a factor as well.
