0.7.4 failing to download avi (or other video files)

Post by ozpeg63 »

Version: 0.7.4
OS: Windows 7
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin : Default
Firewall Software: Windows 7
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? yes

I have just upgraded from SABnzbd 0.7.0 to 0.7.4 and noticed that when my downloads completed there are no video files for the respective shows

Thinking I had somehow n00bed the install I uninstalled, deleted the program folder and re-installed.

I downloaded 1 tv show (animal practice) and when complete checked the program's folder - there are numerous files (par2, r00, r02 etc)

To me it looks like SABnzbd had failed to 'decompress' the files, to create the appropriate video files

On a hunch I used winrar and successfully decompressed the files giving me the mp4 file for the program

Is this a bug in 0.7.4 ? and if so, is there a fix ? or is there setting I can change/correct to rectify this issue

I would prefer not to have to manually decompress every show and movie I download :D

By default SABnzbd will do full post-processing.
Check the setting in Config->Categories for the "Default" category. It should have the "+Delete".
