Hello,
I have just started using Windows 8 with Sabnzb. When a file downloads its does not get moved to the below folders. The files are moved to the file location C:\Users\Andrew\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
This how I have set the folders
and I have set up categories as per below[/color]

You may need to tweak the compatibility settings.
That's in the "properties" of SABnzbd's desktop icon.
Set it to emulate Windows 7 or XP.
BTW: do not set "temporary download folder" and the "watched folder" to be the same.
Also there's inconsistency in the images.
The above one says that the "complete" folder is e:\watching
while the other one says that the base folder for categories is \\media-server\e\watching.
These images cannot come from the same setup.

I wonder how you got into this situation.
Just downloaded and installed an evaluation version of Windows 8 in VMWare
and I see exactly the same behaviour as under Windows 7 and XP.
By default things go to c:\Users\user\Documents\Downloads\Complete
Out-of-the-box Windows 8, no tweaking needed.

Thanks. I tried to run as Vista and Windows 7 with still no luck. If I run a download file in categories as default it moves to right folder.
I am using Windows 8 Storage Spaces to pool 5 drives into one. This might be the issue??

Maybe, but I don't know anything about that.
What does the History entry of a finished job tell you (click on the job line)?
It should show you where SABnzbd thinks it wrote the files to.

the history of the finished job is "C:\" but the file is moved to "C:\Users\Andrew\AppData\Local\VirtualStore"

If SABnzbd thinks it should write files to c:\, then there's something wrong
in they way you set up paths in ->Folders and ->Categories.
Windows 8 does not allow writing to the root of C: and such actions will be redirected.
Do the E: folders that you used actually exist?
