5th time in 2 days (after a reinstall) my queue has corrupt

Post by DejaVu »

Using SabNZBd 0.7.4 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Everything else is running fine (SB, CP, HP, Maraschino, XBMC etc) and I have well over 300Gb available on the drive.

Been using SabNZBd for a few years now and and know how things work.

I've never had a problem like this before and think it could be a bug.
A few other threads on here about it, but I cannot seem to get around it. It's not easy to recreate as it seems to be happening at random.

Deleting the .sabnzbd/admin/ folder clears my queue and resets it, but I have to start my downloads from scratch.

Here's my log from the moment SabNZBd no longer loads and my queue has been lost.
Note the success seconds before the fail.

The offending line is to do with the writing of totals9.sab

Code: Select all

2012-11-04 02:32:50,331::ERROR::[__init__:912] Saving /home/xbmc/.sabnzbd/admin/totals9.sab failed
After this happens, Sab dies a nasty death. Any ideas, a known fix or cause for this fault?
My queue was pretty large - around 300 queued when it failed.

Try the Config->Special setting "use_pickle", set it on an restart.
This will let SABnzbd use an alternative for a library that has
memory leaks on some platforms and Python versions.
